1. Instrument Use

After harvest, fruit and vegetable products are still an independent organism with life activities. In order to maintain life, they must respire. Respiration is the main physiological metabolism mode of horticultural products such as fruits and vegetables after picking. Respiration intensity is an indicator to measure the strength of respiration. It is an important indicator that must be mastered in studying physiological changes after picking fruits and vegetables and in storage and preservation.

The fruit and vegetable respirometer uses a dual-wavelength infrared carbon dioxide analyzer and a 7-inch Android display. It is specially used for the determination and analysis of the respiration intensity of fruits and vegetables under storage conditions such as normal temperature, cold storage, gas conditioning storage, and supermarket refrigerators.

The characteristics of this instrument are that different volumes of respiration chambers can be selected according to the size of fruits and vegetables, which speeds up the balance and measurement time; the CO2 concentration, O2 concentration, temperature and humidity and change curve of the respiration chamber can be directly displayed.
