1. Product Introduction:

The HD-HC500 infrared spectrophotometer is developed and manufactured according to the Chinese environmental protection standards "HJ637-2018 Determination of petroleum and animal and vegetable oils in water quality by infrared spectrophotometry", "HJ1051-2019 Determination of petroleum in soil by infrared spectrophotometry", and "HJ1077-2019 Determination of waste gas, oil fume and oil mist from fixed pollution sources by infrared spectrophotometry". The instrument is mainly used to detect the oil content in surface water, groundwater, industrial wastewater, soil, waste gas, oil fume and oil mist from fixed pollution sources. 3. Product Principle:

HD-HC500 infrared spectrophotometer extracts oil substances in water with tetrachloroethylene according to HJ637-2018 standard, determines the total extract, and then adsorbs the extract with magnesium silicate. After removing animal and vegetable oils and other substances, the petroleum is determined. The content of total extract and petroleum are calculated by the absorbance A2930, A2960 and A3030 at the wavenumbers of 2930cm-1 (stretching vibration of C-H bond in CH2 group), 2960cm-1 (stretching vibration of C-H bond in CH3 group) and 3030cm-1 (stretching vibration of C-H bond in aromatic hydrocarbons). The content of animal and vegetable oil is calculated as the difference between the total extract and the petroleum content.
