The BOD-Q water quality analyser can determine 8 samples simultaneously. It is suitable for BOD determination in polluted surface water, domestic sewage and various industrial wastewaters, and meets the needs of wastewater treatment plant quality control, water environment management and teaching and research in environmental science and engineering.
T/CSUS 28-2021 《Water quality — Determination of biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) — Microbial coulometric method》
The instrument extracts the electron flow signal from the biochemical degradation of organic matter and measures the charge in the external circuit. Through the optimised design of the microbial anode, cathode and electrolyte systems, BOD is determined rapidly and accurately; the BOD value obtained by this principle is called BOD-Q. The method greatly shortens the testing time and reduces the deviation of results, while the test system is well suited to intelligent control.
