I. Product Introduction

The BOD-Q water quality analyzer can simultaneously determine 4 samples. It is suitable for BOD determination of polluted surface water, domestic sewage and various industrial wastewater, and can meet the needs of wastewater treatment plant quality control, water environment management, and environmental science and engineering research and teaching.

T/CSUS28-2021 Water quality — Determination of biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) — Microbial coulometric method.

III. Working Principle

The method realizes the extraction of the electron flow signal from the biochemical degradation of organic matter and determines the quantity of electricity in the external circuit. Through the optimized design of the microbial anode, cathode and electrolyte systems, BOD can be determined rapidly and accurately. The BOD value measured by this principle is called BOD-Q. This method greatly shortens the detection time and reduces the deviation of measurement results, and the test system is favorable for intelligent control.
