5. Instructions for use
Assembly: Select the appropriate drill bit according to the type of soil to be sampled, and use a wrench to connect the T-handle to the extension rod. Then fix the drill bit to the extension rod through the threaded interface.
Drilling: Insert the assembled sampler vertically into the soil, and rotate the T-handle clockwise to slowly enter the soil.
Sampling: When the drill bit reaches the predetermined depth, stop rotating and gently move it up and down several times to ensure that the soil sample is completely filled inside the drill bit. Then turn the T-handle counterclockwise to remove the drill bit.
Collecting samples: Carefully remove the soil sample from the drill bit with a scraper and place it in a pre-prepared sample bag or bottle.
Cleaning and maintenance: After each use, please wipe all components clean with a towel and store them properly in the aluminum box for next use.
