1. Product Introduction

The HD-GSGC laboratory constant silicate analyzer is suitable for detecting the content of constant silicate ions in sample water. It is widely used in power plants, chemical fertilizers, metallurgy, environmental protection, pharmaceuticals, chemical fibers, semiconductors and other industries. It is suitable for the detection and analysis of soluble silicate content in demineralized water, steam condensate water, boiler water and other waters; it complies with the "GB/T12149-2017 Determination of Silicon in Industrial Circulating Cooling Water and Boiler Water" standard.

2. Working Principle

The HD-GSGC constant silicate analyzer uses the principle of photoelectric colorimetry for measurement. Under the condition of pH 1.1-1.3, the soluble silicon in water reacts with ammonium molybdate to form a yellow silicon-molybdenum complex. The silicon-molybdenum complex is reduced to silicon-molybdenum blue with ammonium ferrous sulfate solution. The silicon content is determined by a silicate analyzer. According to the Lambert-Beer law: when a beam of monochromatic parallel light passes through a colored solution, part of the light energy is absorbed by the solution. If the thickness of the liquid layer remains unchanged, the degree of light energy absorbed (absorbance A) is proportional to the concentration of the colored substance in the solution.
